Queenstown Central Shopping Centre is running FREE buses from the Centre to LUMA, Thursday 1 – Monday 5 June (King’s Birthday Weekend).

First launched in 2021, the LUMA Bus is a community project lead by Queenstown Central in partnership with LUMA, Orbus buses and AJ Hackett Bungy with the aim of keeping cars off the road and helping locals get to LUMA safely.

Park your vehicle for FREE in the Queenstown Central carpark (there will no parking enforcement at the Centre during LUMA event hours).

Grab-a-bite before you go – LUMA specials will be available at participating Queenstown Central foodies.

Park-for-free, grab-a-feed, ride-the-bus and be straight-to-the-gate of LUMA – too easy!

Dates: Thursday 1 June – Monday 5 June (5 nights)

HOP ON: Opposite Foodies (St Pierre’s/Subway) at Queenstown Central Shopping Centre in Frankton (Central St) – first bus departs at 5pm
HOP OFF/ RETURN: LUMA Main Gate, Park Street, CBD – last bus departs at 10pm (event closing time)

Multiple buses are running non-stop (direct) between Queenstown Central and LUMA until event close.

Road Closure: The Central Street section of road from The Coffee Club to St Pierre’s will be closed from 4:30pm onwards, 1 June – 5 June to for the exclusive passage of buses.
Carpark Access: Parking for LUMA Bus-goers is in the main shopper carpark (in front of Kmart) with extra field parking behind Central Street (sign-posted) and Shearers Drive Carpark (entrance opp. Joe’s Garage on Grant Rd).

LUMA is a ticketed event with limited numbers available each night.
